Hello. My name is Destina Moga. I am the creator of the Makeovers Home Preschool Curriculum. My mother owns a chain of day care centers throughout the Cleveland, Ohio suburbs. We also own a private elementary in the Cleveland suburb of Westlake, Ohio. We've been in business since 1982. The name of our schools is Le Chaperon Rouge. Le Chaperon Rouge means Little Red Riding Hood in French.
We are a special kind of company because we are owner run and operated. We take very good care of our teachers and, in turn, they take very good care of the children who go to our schools. Our philosophy is, “Happy teachers equal happy children.”
Five years ago, I created a preschool curriculum to suit the needs of our schools. Our preschool curriculum is divided into ten sections: Reading and Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies, Music, Language Arts/Storytelling/Dramatic Play, Creative Art, Social/Emotional Management, and Tools. These ten sections introduce the young mind to a variety of skills that establish connections in the young brain that encourages learning throughout an entire lifetime.
The children that have attended Le Chaperon Rouge in the last 26 years have had great success in their elementary school years and beyond. We have many satisfied parents that have thanked us for providing their children with such great care.
Due to the success of our curriculum in our own schools for the past five years, I want to introduce the program to the stay at home parent. I've redesigned the Le Chaperon Rouge preschool program to fit the needs of the family. The program is now designed to help you teach your child like a teacher. The tools and instructions are simple to use and to present to your child.
